Last night we were thrilled to have Fitness Instructor Simon Caddy come down and run our Hoshi Fighting Fit class. Everyone really enjoyed it and Simon had a brilliant rapport with the students, working them hard but still keeping them motivated and the session enjoyable.
Today we are pleased to announce Simon will be joining the Coaching team on a permanent basis, heading up our Fitness & Conditioning syllabus.
With a special interest in Performance & Rehabilitation, Simon first qualified as a personal trainer in 1999, and has been active in the industry ever since. Alongside working as a PT, Simon has gained experience as a tutor for Faster Health & Fitness and now works as a tutor for the Jordan Fitness Training Academy. In addition to this, he continues to broaden his knowledge base by spending time with other trainers to learn from them.
Simon also has an array of qualifications for delivering many types of fitness classes that will always challenge you, so be sure to get to one! Simon’s specialises in human performance and rehabilitation, which in a nutshell means he can work with anyone and help everyone. Whether you are looking to build muscle, improve fitness or burn fat Simon has systems and plans ready to help you, all built by his experiences from his time so far in the fitness industry.
One of Simon’s biggest personal achievements to date took place in May 2016 when he ran his first ultra-marathon from Brecon to Cardiff. The challenge took just under 9 hours to complete and concluded a few intense months of running events with a 10k race, a half marathon, a 20 mile race, a full marathon in Rome and then the ultra! Always up for testing himself physically, Simon has more recently completed a 24 hour endurance race as a pair with his wife Ruth where they ran 90 miles between them.
